Opus 1614 has been saved! The organ is now one and under one roof again! |
Opus 1614 was built in 1927 and installed in the Kirby Theatre in Houston, TX. It is a style EX. The "X" is an indication that the organ was installed in two chambers in the theatre, one on either side of the stage. This was somewhat rare in smaller organs. Opus 1614 was also a transition organ.
